First of all, when the kit first got to me, the box was opened, and thankfully the box has a customer service email and they were able to send me a replacement right away (they answered the email within 24 hours.) They also said it happens a lot with Amazon that they will just resend out kits that have been returned and don’t check to see if they’ve been opened, so I’m really glad that Lansley has amazing customer service. This waxing kit was very easy to use. I reviewed multiple waxing kits on Amazon and almost gave up on choosing one because all of them had major problems according to the reviews, but this kit had the best reviews with some even addressing some of the “problems” as essentially operator error. I have done a little bit of waxing at home before with traditional wax and so this was not 100% new to me. It took a little bit of trial and error to get the wax to the a good temperature. I started out at the max heat to melt the wax completely, probably took about 15-20 minutes (I walked away to do something else in the meantime.) After it was completely melted, it was too runny to use, so I brought the temperature down to about 185 and that was a good consistency for doing my eyebrows. It was hot enough to work well, but not too hot to burn my skin. I also did my moms eyebrows and she is normally in pain even the next day from traditional wax and she said that her eyebrows weren’t red or swollen at all and she has somewhat sensitive skin. Overall, it was a great kit for a reasonable price.

This wax kit was very easy to use. The directions were clear and I was able to wax myself effortlessly. I set the heat setting a little above the recommendation because the beads weren’t melted enough for application, but after this minor fix everything was smooth sailing. The post-wax oil was amazing as well. I’ve yet to have any issues with hair bumps and it’s been 2 weeks! Great product overall, especially for a novice like myself.
